Since our founding by French Huguenots in 1688, New Rochelle has maintained a connection with La Rochelle, France that includes an annual observance of Bastille Day and cultural exchanges among musicians. This Friday, all are invited to a morning flag raising at City Hall and an evening concert at Faneuil Park, and then Saturday afternoon enjoy a jazz performance on Library Green.
