Tomorrow, June 19th, please join neighbors across New Rochelle in a day-long celebration of Juneteenth, with events and programming at Ward Acres, City Hall, and Thomas Paine Cottage Museum, organized under the leadership of the Lincoln Park Conservancy. Our newest national holiday is deeply rooted in the African-American experience and yet also holds universal meaning — inviting us to reflect on the historic and unfinished struggle for justice, while renewing our commitment to freedom, dignity, and equality for all.
