New Rochelle is making it easier than ever to recycle by launching a downloadable app and interactive website with collection information and schedules.
The mobile app, Recycle Right Westchester, can be downloaded for both Apple and Android devices. The app features garbage, recycling, and special pickup collection schedules that are specific to your house address, with the option of setting pickup reminders. Got a question about how to dispose of something? The searchable “Recyclopedia” database tells you what can be reused, recycled, or composted. In addition to the app, the Recycle Right program is available online at www.newrochelleny.com/DPWonline. Users can type in their home address in the “My Schedule” tool.
