Energize New Rochelle is hosting a free Energy Coach Talk on Tuesday, November 19th at 6:00pm at the New Rochelle Public Library. If saving money on energy bills and making your home more comfortable isn’t enough incentive to show up, here’s an added bonus: free tacos from the Little Mexican Cafe will be served alongside the helpful tips. Here’s more information from Energize:
Each year, many homeowners dread facing another winter in a drafty and expensive-to-heat house or apartment. Energize New Rochelle provides home energy solutions to help people stop the drafts and save money on their energy bills.
The Energy Coach Talk will be an informational presentation featuring Building Performance Institute certified energy expert Norm Jen, who will demonstrate how homes leak energy and how to fix it. He will also explain how New Rochelle residents can take advantage of state incentives to pay for energy efficiency improvements.
Energized New Rochelle Homeowners will speak about their experiences with the program. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions about their own homes.
By encouraging New Rochelle residents to get comprehensive home energy assessments – and to follow through with recommended Home Performance upgrades – Energize New Rochelle will help residents lower their oil and utility bills, achieve year-round comfort in their homes, reduce particulate air pollution and increase local construction employment.
