Congratulations to Daniel Martinez, who won a year’s free rent at the just-completed 360 Huguenot development. Daniel, a photographer, came out on top in a competition featuring more than 100 artists.
Yesterday, at the ribbon-cutting for 360 Huguenot — the first completed project from our master developers and an important milestone in New Rochelle’s downtown renewal efforts — RXR Chairman Scott Rechler and I presented Daniel with a symbolic check.
Daniel’s remarks in response were gracious, heartfelt, and full of enthusiasm for New Rochelle. We will all benefit from his talents, and from the creative energy of other artists who choose to make New Rochelle home.
