Hundreds of students gather at New Rochelle High School to press for action on gun violence.
I am proud of the hundreds of New Rochelle students who participated in today’s National School Walkout to protest inaction on the vital priority of gun violence. On this and many other issues, young people are showing greater wisdom, courage and determination than their elders, and I hope that the overwhelming turnout in New Rochelle, together with countless other demonstrations all across America, will force a change in the stalemated politics of Washington.
