New Ro Bike Share Station on Hamilton Avenue
As announced in my recent State of the City Address, New Rochelle’s Bike Share program — the first in Westchester — is now up and running.
We are starting with a “soft launch” during which 50 bikes are available at 11 different stations, and we’ll ramp up to a full launch in late April, with a total of 100 bikes.
The program is super-simple. Just use your smartphone to download the “New Rochelle Bike” app found on the App Store or Google Play. Then follow the instructions on the app to access a bicycle.
