School, City, and community leaders in New Rochelle will participate together in a “Task Force on Reducing Violence in the Lives of Youth.”
Earlier today, Dr. Jonathan Brice, an independent expert with wide-ranging educational experience, was named to Chair this effort.
If you are interested in serving on the Task Force, please complete this online form no later than February 18th. Community representatives will be selected by February 22nd, and the Task Force will convene by the end of February, with the goal of completing its work by mid-April.
Bringing together multiple stakeholders and perspectives, the Task Force will review policies, practices, and procedures that affect student safety, examine means of providing positive support for all young people, and offer actionable recommendations to strengthen New Rochelle.
