In partnership with the New York League of Conservation Voters and Sustainable Westchester, New Rochelle is taking the Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) Pledge.

Specifically, we’re committing that by 2020 at least 5% of our light-duty municipal fleet will be composed of zero emission vehicles such as plug-in electric or hydrogen fuel cell, and we’ll revisit this commitment every year to determine if the City can achieve an even higher target.

Just one small part of a broader effort to implement sustainable practices, promote clean energy, fight climate change, and save money.
