New Rochelle’s ambitious downtown development plan took another big step forward yesterday, with the ground-breaking of the Millennia, a new $30 million, 110-unit apartment building on Burling Lane, just a stone’s throw from North Avenue and our Transit Center.
Together with a new public plaza and sculpture (which are already completed,) the Millennia will produce a dramatic change at one of our city’s most visible locations. Several additional developments are also planned for the immediately surrounding area.
