As I mentioned in this prior post, I intend to be more active and vocal during the next few years in standing up for progressive public policy at every level.
In this spirit, I joined mayors across the country in signing this letter urging preservation of the mental health care provisions of the Affordable Care Act (“ACA.”) Repealing the ACA would have a devastating impact on the 1 in 5 Americans living with mental illness – as well as millions of others whose health insurance would be placed in jeopardy.
