gun-trafficAttorney General Eric Schneiderman just released an eye-opening report showing that three-quarters of the guns used to commit crimes in New York originate out-of-state.  Focusing on handguns, the number rises to 86%.

The report makes abundantly clear that strong gun safety laws in one state (like New York) can be undermined by gun trafficking from other states with lax regulations.  This is truly a national problem that requires a national solution.
