The Lombardi Interior
Yesterday afternoon, I was delighted to attend the ribbon-cutting for the Lombardi, a new mid-sized apartment building on lower North Avenue, a couple of blocks from the train station.
With a really elegant appearance, green design and operational features, and several affordable units, the Lombardi is not just an outstanding addition to New Rochelle’s menu of housing options, it also represents the future of the North Avenue corridor and of our transit area as a whole – an example of our downtown development plan in action and a taste of things to come.
I congratulate the development team on this accomplishment and look forward to celebrating many more positive steps going forward.
