In the context of New Rochelle’s updated Comprehensive Plan, the City is proposing new zoning standards that would make it easier for property owners to generate their own solar or wind energy.

It’s all part of New Rochelle’s ongoing effort to encourage sustainability, cut costs, and contribute to the health of our environment.
A public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan is scheduled for September 12th.
