Mayor Noam Bramson, Councilman Jared Rice, and Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins with the Lincoln Park Community Garden organizers.
Since opening in May 2012, the Lincoln Park Community Garden has been a great success. And this week, the Garden celebrated another milestone – doubling its raised beds from 30 to 60 and creating more gardening opportunities for families, youth organizations, houses of worship, and community groups.
Gardeners will also benefit from new water service, part of the first phase of the City’s Lincoln Park Master Plan.
Congratulations to the volunteers who helped make it happen. And happy gardening!
