GraffitiSay goodbye to graffiti in New Rochelle.  Under a new Graffiti Removal Program launched about a week ago, graffiti on public property will be removed within 48 hours of being reported.  For private properties, an abatement notice will be issued to owners within 2 business days of the City being notified; property owners will then have 10 days to remove the graffiti or the City will perform the removal and send a bill to the property owner.

To report graffiti locations, please call the City Manager’s office at 654-2140.

This new policy should help make our community more attractive, livable, and inviting.  And quick removal of graffiti discourages people from defacing property in the first place.
