Breaking ground for Heritage Homes Phase III.
I’m a little behind on my blog posts thanks to a family vacation last week, but didn’t want an important event to pass without comment. Back on April 21st, I was pleased to participate in the ground-breaking for the third phase of Heritage Homes.
The big pile of dirt in the foreground of the image may not make for the best photo op, but Heritage Homes, with its townhouse-style units and restored network of neighborhood streets, is a big improvement over the obsolete public housing it replaces, helping to demonstrate that affordable housing can be quality housing.
Congratulations to the development team, and many thanks to our partners at the federal, state, and county level who, along with private lenders, helped make this initiative possible.
