Noam Bramson with Joe Napolitano, who runs Patsy’s (and other successful New Ro restaurants.)
Ever since Patsy’s Pizza, the famous New York Italian, opened an outpost here in New Rochelle, I’ve been eager to go. Yesterday, I finally got my chance.
The space, which formerly housed the restaurants On the Waterfront and RRQ, received a full makeover and has never looked better. Sleek, simple, and elegant, with both indoor and outdoor seating to take full advantage of a unique location overlooking our marina.
And the pizza? Terrific, especially if you’re a fan of thin crust like me. My guest and I split a margarita with prosciutto and arugula. I greedily gobbled up about three-quarters of the pie and then stared sadly at the empty platter as it was carried away.

The margarita with prosciutto and arugula. I ate most of it.
I did not have a chance to try anything else on the menu, but judging by the ample-sized and uniformly happy crowd, I am guessing that my pizza wasn’t the only winner. I’ll have to come back with the kids, so we can do some more sampling.
Patsy’s is located at 2 Pelham Road in New Rochelle.
