Noam with the Parent-Child Home Program
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) runs a terrific Parent-Child Home Program that provides enrichment to pre-schoolers and parenting skills to moms and dads.
This past Tuesday, in celebration of the “Week of the Young Child,” WJCS invited me to read a story (Erik Carle’s “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?”) to the some of the youngsters in the program. Here’s a photo. You can pick me out because I’m the one who’s overdressed.
Jeremy and Owen outgrew Erik Carle a few years ago, but picking up Brown Bear was like being reunited with an old friend.
