The Yonkers Federation of Teachers, the largest union representing Westchester County educators, endorsed New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson for County Executive this morning.
“The Yonkers Federation of Teachers strongly endorses Noam Bramson for Westchester County Executive,” said Pat Puleo, President of the YFT. “During difficult budgetary times, Noam Bramson has demonstrated a keen ability to successfully collaborate with working men and women to build a safer, more fiscally sound community. Our children will benefit from his deep understanding of family needs balanced with strong fiscal integrity.”
“I am honored to receive the support of educators who are so hard at work for our children,” said Bramson. “As a graduate of Westchester public schools and a parent of two kids in Westchester public schools, this endorsement is especially meaningful to me. I know the impact a teacher can have on their students’ lives, and I’ll work with the YFT to ensure all our children get a great education.”
