I’d sampled the great hot dogs from Dawg House at several street fairs and festivals around Westchester, but the street stands offer only a small sampling of the extensive menu available at the restaurant in Dobbs Ferry.
So today, between stops in Dobbs Ferry and Yonkers, I made a point of dropping by the restaurant. I had a Chicago-style “windy city” and something called the “mac attack” – which is basically a heap of mac and cheese over a dog.
The latter is apparently Dawg House’s most popular offering, and Owen would have loved it. I give the nod to the windy city myself. Fun place, good dogs.
