Noam Bramson, the mayor of New Rochelle since 2006, will announce today that he is joining the field of Democrats trying to unseat Republican Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino next year.
Bramson, a Democrat, said Westchester needs a broad strategy to encourage economic growth and job creation, improve government efficiency and “uphold our commitment to working parents, children, seniors and the vulnerable.”
“Those priorities have been neglected during the past three years and this neglect places our future at risk,” he said Thursday.
