Teachers and students worked together to create the school-wide Sustainability Day this past March, with special displays, speakers, and workshops. (I was the guest speaker at two of the sessions, and the kids asked great questions.) The intent, of course, is to encourage sustainable practices every day, not just at a single event, and the prize money from RNN’s contest would help make this possible.
