Public Invited To Honor Fallen Servicemen and Servicewomen
Local veteran leaders, in partnership with City and School officials, are bringing back the tradition of a New Rochelle Memorial Day parade. The parade will honor those who have given their lives in combat for our nation and also pay tribute to all who have served in the armed forces. It will feature floats, bands, sailors and marines from Fleet Week, veterans groups, and much more.

The Memorial Day observance will commence at 10:30am with a ceremony at Memorial Plaza (Memorial Highway at Main Street), then embark on a parade route to Hudson Park, where there will be an additional ceremony honoring those lost at sea, followed by a picnic in the park and musical performances.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend, and children are especially welcome. Parking is available in downtown lots and at the municipal marina.
