Event To Benefit The American Cancer Society
As reported last month, I am privileged to serve as the captain of the City Hall team at the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The event kicks off tonight (Friday, June 22nd) at 7:00pm at the New Rochelle High School track and will conclude tomorrow morning. Along with other participants, I will be up all night, either walking around the track, enjoying the evening with other volunteers, or participating in fund-raising activities.
If you would like help and make a contribution to cancer research, you can assist in two ways:
– Make a donation to the American Cancer Society on-line from my Relay for Life webpage HERE.
– Visit the Relay for Life between 7:00pm and 11:00pm on Friday evening, June 22nd and challenge me to a round of Boggle, the classic word game. (Everyone on the City Hall team will be playing a different game.) If you win, I donate to the American Cancer Society. If I win, then the challenger donates. You can bet up to $50.
