Sanitary and Storm Water Improvements Likely to Follow
In the aftermath of the severe April 15th floods, City staff conducted dozens of meetings with affected homeowners and neighborhood representatives, in order to obtain the clearest possible understanding of the scope and frequency of flood events and begin developing an action plan for future flood mitigation. Public works officials subsequently analyzed storm and sanitary lines at multiple occasions, often finding and addressing blockages and breaks. In some locations, however, additional engineering analysis is required, possibly to be followed by investment in improved infrastructure.
