Affordable Units To Be Completed at Lincoln & Heminway

As part of the New Rochelle’s ongoing commitment to creating high quality workforce housing, the City has teamed with Habitat for Humanity to complete two attached town homes on Lincoln Avenue. The shells of these buildings were constructed privately four years ago, but then abandoned, and have been neighborhood eyesores since. Habitat will now finish the job, utilizing federal grants assigned to the project by the City. As a result, two families will achieve the dream of first-time home ownership. The Community Preservation Corporation and the Housing Action Council are also playing critical roles in this development.
