First Exhibit Features Work of Norman Rockwell

Thanks to the work of the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence, a new museum is now open to the public at the recently-completed addition of New Rochelle High School. The first exhibit, entitled “A View of the American Homefront,” features the work of Norman Rockwell from the 1940’s. It will be open to the public from October 12 to November 17, 2006, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. “Museum Talks” related to the exhibit are also planned. To arrange for group visits, call Mary Lou Montalto at 576-4524, and for additional information about the exhibit or the museum, call Donna Weissman at 576-4657.
