Entering Office on a Low-Key Note

I had indicated in a previous email bulletin that an inaugural ceremony would be scheduled in conjunction with my appointment as Mayor. On reflection, I concluded that it was more appropriate to take office in a low-key fashion and simply get down to work, so no ceremony ever took place. Thank you to those who expressed an interest in attending an inaugural event. I hope we will have an opportunity to gather together later in the year.
