Rosenshein Associates plans to construct a new mid-sized shopping center next to Stop and Shop on Palmer Avenue. Called “Palmer Square,” the center will include roughly 80,000 square feet of retail space, with an adjacent four level parking garage. Marshall’s is expected to be the primary tenant, with announcement about additional tenants coming soon. The New Rochelle Planning Board will carefully examine the impact of this development, particularly with respect to traffic safety and volume, prior to issuing site plan approval.
