The Partnership for the Huguenot Children’s Library and the Jack Robert Young Memorial Foundation have launched a “Buy A Brick” campaign to raise money for a new special needs playground, “Jack’s Friendship Garden,” being added to Huguenot Park this spring. The personalized bricks will create a walkway leading to the park, similar to the walkway of engraved bricks in front of the Huguenot Children’s Library on North Avenue. Bricks are available in three different sizes for $100, $500 or $1,000 and can be engraved with names, dates, quotations, or a line drawing. Order forms are available on the Jack Robert Young Foundation website, www.jrymemorialfound.org and at the Huguenot Children’s Library or the Main Library. For further information, please call Mickie Fosina at 235-4565 or Donna Young at 654-9470.
