It is shaping up to be a great year for New Rochelle sports. Fresh on the heels of the New Rochelle High School football team’s New York State championship, the varsity squad of the High School Cheerleading Team placed second last month at the national finals of the Universal Cheerleading Association Championships in Orlando, Florida.
